DHAKA, June 15, 2025 (BSS) - The Women and Children Affairs Ministry has invited applications from aspirants for the 'Rokeya Padak-2025'.

Applications must be submitted by June 20 with the necessary information, according to a notification issued by the Labour and Employment Ministry recently.

The Women and Children Affairs Ministry commemorates Begum Rokeya Day annually on December 9, presenting the Begum Rokeya Padak.

Bangladeshi women who have contributed to women's education, rights, socio-economic development, literature, and rural development are requested to apply using the specific form available on the official website, the notification added.

Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus will present awards to five exceptional women at a function for their outstanding contributions to various fields, including women's education, rights, socio-economic development, literature and culture, mass awareness, and rural development.

The notification also said that applicants are requested to submit applications by filling out the form with the necessary information and sending it to the ministry's administration wing via e-mail: [email protected] by June 20.

However, it added that applicants must also submit one set of hard copy and one set of soft copy (in Nikosh font) within the given timeframe.
