4 women held with 240 bottles of phensedyl in Dinajpur

RANGPUR, Nov 9, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested four presumed female drug peddlers with 240 bottles of phensedyl from the Dhaka Mour area under Phulbari police station of Dinajpur district on Saturday afternoon. 

On a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-13 Crime Prevention Company-1 from its Dinajpur Camp in a raid in the area searched the women, recovered the contraband phensedyl and arrested them from the spot at 3:30 pm," said a press release.

The detainees were identified as Most Rina, 35, of Hili Jilapipatti, Ishika Akhter, 19, of Hili Dangapara, Razia Khatun, 34, of Baro Dangapara and Shahinur Begum, 40, of Madham Basthanpur under Hakimpur police station of Dinajpur district. 

After filing a case, the elite force handed over the arrested women and the recovered phensedyl to Phulbari police station of Dinajpur district for further legal action.
