Two dengue patients die, 392 hospitalised in last 24hrs

DHAKA, June 23, 2025 (BSS) - Two dengue patients died and 392 have been 
hospitalised in the country during the last 24 hours till this morning. 

"During the period, 126 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 80 
in Chattogram, 31 in Dhaka division, 22 in Dhaka North City Corporation 
(DNCC), 64 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 25 in Khulna, one in each 
Mymensingh and Rangpur, and 41 were admitted to different hospitals in 
Rajshahi division," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of 
Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of cases rose to 8,150 while 34 deaths from dengue, the 
mosquito-borne disease, were reported this year.

During the same period, 190 patients were discharged from hospitals.
