DHAKA, June 24, 2025 (BSS) – A total of 394 dengue patients were admitted to 
different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours till this 
morning. 

"During the period, 157 were hospitalized in Barishal, 58 in Chattogram, 35 
in Dhaka division, 42 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 50 in Dhaka 
South City Corporation (DSCC), eight in Khulna and 44 were admitted to 
different hospitals in Rajshahi division," said a press release issued by the 
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of cases rose to 8,544 while 34 deaths from dengue disease 
were reported this year.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214, while 575 deaths from 
dengue disease were reported, the release added.
