COVID-19 update: 10 new cases, one reported death in 24 hours

DHAKA, June 27, 2025 (BSS) - The Health Department has reported 10 new COVID-19 cases in the 24-hour period from 8 am Thursday to 8 am today.
 
During this time, 199 samples were tested, yielding a patient detection rate of 5.02 percent.

One person has died from COVID-19 in the same period, bringing the total number of deaths to 20 in 2025.
 
Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the country has recorded a total of 29,519 COVID-19-related deaths.
