COVID-19 update: 7 new cases, 2 reported death in 24 hours

DHAKA, June 28, 2025 (BSS) - The Health Department has reported seven new COVID-19 cases in the 24-hour period from 8 am Friday to 8 am today.
 
During this time, 181 samples were tested, yielding a patient detection rate of 3.87 percent.

Two person has died from COVID-19 in the same period, bringing the total number of deaths to 22 in 2025.
 
Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the country has recorded a total of 29,521 COVID-19-related deaths.
