Mass uprising takes place with dream of building a new Bangladesh: Nahid

PANCHAGARH, July 3, 2025 (BSS) - National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam today said the students-people didn’t take to the streets just for a change of power rather the mass uprising took place with the dream of building a new Bangladesh.
 
He said this while addressing a street rally at Tetulia upazila of the district.
 
Nahid said, “We have come to listen to you. We have to rebuild Bangladesh. If dictatorships arise repeatedly in Bangladesh even after the mass uprising, then Bangladesh and the people of this country will not be benefitted.”
 
He said, “We want to see a politics in Bangladesh that is truly for the citizens. After the coup, we no longer want to live like slaves. We want to live with equal rights. NCP will do politics for the citizens. It will ensure the rights of citizens.”
 
After the rally, NCP leaders visited Tetulia market and spoke to the local people. NCP listened to their needs, hopes and aspirations.
 
The NCP leaders requested the people of Tetulia to stand by them in building a new Bangladesh in the future.
