Bashir stresses timely, budget-bound completion of aviation, tourism projects

DHAKA, July 20, 2025 (BSS) - Civil Aviation and Tourism Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin today underscored the need for completing all ongoing projects under the ministry within the stipulated timeframe and approved budget to ensure efficient utilisation of resources.

He gave the directives while addressing the Annual Development Programme (ADP) progress review meeting for the fiscal year 2024-25 at the ministry's conference room, said a ministry's press release here. 

Highlighting the importance of quality implementation of the projects, Bashir said infrastructural development should be sustainable and effective so that the people can enjoy long-term benefits from these initiatives.

Participants at the meeting discussed various challenges and opportunities related to the ongoing projects, emphasising the need for enhanced coordination and dynamism to accelerate project implementation.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary Nasreen Jahan, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Chairman (CAAB) Air Vice Marshal Md Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq, Chairman of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Sayema Shaheen Sultana, and officials from CAAB, Bangladesh Tourism Board, and other relevant agencies attended the meeting.
