DHAKA, Aug 03, 2025 (BSS) - The Ministry of Housing and Public Works has asked all of its departments to take initiatives in listing new contractors to complete procurement and service activities within the fastest possible time and in a transparent manner.
 
The ministry also instructed the department concerned not to keep category system (such as A.B.C category) in the process of listing the contactors and take actions as per PPR-2008, said a ministry press release here today.

It said the instruction was given to the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), National Housing Authority, Urban Development Directorate (UDD), Department of Public Works, Department of Architecture, Chittagong Development Authority, Khulna Development Authority, Rajshahi Development Authority, Cox's Bazar Development Authority, HBRI and Directorate of Government Housing and Directorate of Internal Audit.
