DMP files 2,395 cases against traffic rules violations

DHAKA, Aug 11, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 2,395 cases against vehicles, owners and its drivers for violating traffic rules.

DMP traffic police dumped 329 motor vehicles and towed 113 vehicles during the campaign against traffic rule violations, according to a press release issued today. 

The DMP release further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
