Addl-IGP Golam Rasul gets grade-1

DHAKA, Aug 25, 2025 (BSS) - The government has promoted Additional Inspector General of Police (Addl-IGP) Md Golam Rasul to grade-1 from grade-2.

The Ministry of Public Administration today issued a gazette notification to this end.

“Additional Inspector General of Police Md Golam Rasul, Chief of Special Branch (SB) of Police, will enjoy (Grade-1 of the National Pay Scale, 2015),” it said.

Golam Rasul has been asked to submit his joining letter to the senior secretary to the public security division of the ministry of home affairs through proper channel. 

The order will be effective from the date of his joining.
