DHAKA, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) - The government has appointed Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, M Abdur Rahman Tarafder, as the new Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

In this regard, a gazette notification signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Rafiqul Huq was issued today.

The order, issued in the public interest, will be effective immediately.
