BPPA CEO promoted to Secretary

DHAKA, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS)– S.M. Moin Uddin Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer (Additional Secretary), of  Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA) has been promoted as the Secretary to the government.

The government promoted him as the Secretary today and posted as the CEO of BPPA which he has been continuing since 29th June 2025.

Before his present position, he worked as Additional Secretary to the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Joint Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, General Manager, Bangladesh Forest Industries Development Corporation, Deputy Secretary to the Technical and Madrasa Education Division, Ministry of Education, and Secretary to the Land Appeal Board, said a press release.

He worked on lien as Program Executive and Coordinator for the Strengthening Public Financial Management Program to Enable Service Delivery (SPFMS) of the Finance Division for two years.

He was deputed as Additional Program Director (Deputy Secretary) to the Public Expenditure Management Strengthening Program (PEMSP) of the Finance Division under the Ministry of Finance from 4th June 2017 to 13th October 2019.

S. M. Moin Uddin Ahmed worked in the Finance Division as Senior Assistant Secretary from November 2007 to October 2012.
