EC to hold meeting with Home Ministry on Sept 25 on law and order in polls

DHAKA, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) - The Election Commission (EC) will hold its first meeting with senior officials of the Home Ministry and law enforcement agencies on September 25 to ensure a smooth environment for the 13th Jatiya Sangsad elections.

Akhtar Ahmed, Senior Secretary of the EC Secretariat, said this while announcing the roadmap for the 13th Jatiya Sangsad elections this afternoon.

The (EC) has announced a roadmap of 24 important tasks marking the national 
election.

The EC will hold a second meeting with senior officials of the law and order 
forces 15 days before the announcement of the schedule.
