DHAKA, Aug 29, 2025(BSS) - BNP Standing Committee member and Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's personal physician Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said that former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia was taken to Evercare Hospital for a regular health check-up on the advice of the Medical Board. 

"Alhamdulillah, after completing the tests, she returned to Firoza on the advice of the Medical Board," he told journalists last night after Khaleda Zia's return to her residence, from Evercare Hospital.

Zahid Hossain said that Begum Khaleda Zia has sought prayers from the countrymen for her recovery.
