ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Kushtia, Aug 30, 2025 (BSS) - Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia today held admission tests for the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes for the 2024-25 academic session.

The examinations took place at the university's Ibn Sina Science Academic Building.

IU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah visited the exam venue along with Pro-VC Prof Dr. M Yeaqub Ali, treasurer Prof Dr. Jahangir Alam, deans of various faculties, proctor and student adviser of the university.

According to the IU academic office, a total of 108 candidates took part in the tests, with 70 appearing for the MPhil programme and 38 for the PhD programme.
