DHAKA, Aug 31, 2025 (BSS) - The land ministry has taken an initiative to make the Zonal Settlement Press of Sylhet division more effective for providing land-related documents and services to citizens quickly. 

According to an official release, land survey activities have been underway in 36 upazilas of Sylhet division since the 1987-88 fiscal year. To ensure doorstep services, a mini press was installed at the Sylhet Zonal Settlement office in 2012. 

The ministry said several measures have already been taken to modernize and strengthen the press in the interest of the people.

The release added that the government's main objective is to deliver hassle-free land services and make settlement activities more dynamic through digital management.
