DHAKA, Aug 31, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Mahfuj Alam today unveiled the cover of a research paper on ‘What to do to check the readership and improve the quality of the publications of the Department of Films and Publications (DFP)’. 

The research paper was unveiled at the meeting room of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the Secretariat today, said a press release.

Mahfuj said all types of publications published by DFP since its establishment in 1976 must be preserved. 

Initiatives must be taken to quickly collect those publications that are not currently in the collection of DFP, he said. 

The adviser urged all concerned to work towards improving the quality of DFP publications.

Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana, DFP Director General Khaleda Begum, and heads of departments and organizations under the ministry were present on the occasion.
