No new COVID-19 cases reported in 24 hours

DHAKA, Sept 6, 2025 (BSS) – The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) today confirmed that no new COVID-19 infection  was reported in the country in last 24-hours ending  8.00 am today (Saturday).

A total of 12 samples were examined during the period with no positive results, according to a DGHS statement.

No deaths from COVID-19 were reported during this period. The cumulative death toll since the pandemic began in 2020 stands at 29,531.

The first case of corona virus in the country was detected on March 8, 2020. Ten days later, on March 18, the first COVID-19 death was reported in Bangladesh.
