MYMENSINGH, Sept 8, 2025 (BSS)- An inception programme was launched by the "Hopes of Humanity Centre (HHC)", a youth-led organisation founded by students of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), today at Dhansiri Convention Hall here with the theme "Together for Humanity, Together for Hope".

Nusrat Jahan, district youth mobilizer of BRAC, said young people are the "driving force of change". She commended HHC for providing a platform in collective action. 

BRAC Accounts Officer Md. Saidur Rahman stressed the importance of accountability and transparency in the country's sustainable development.

Musaddiqul Islam, vice-president of the BAU Journalist Association, and Taniul Karim Zim, advisor to the HHC, highlighted the role of youth activism in social progress.

Presiding over the event, HHC Founder and Managing Director SM Sazzad Ul Islam described the initiative as the beginning of a "collective journey" to empower youth in community service.

The programme featured policy presentations, group discussions and a roadmap for HHC's yearly activities, marking a milestone in its organisational development.

A number of youth leaders and development workers attended the programme.
