36 cases of dengue, 47 cases of chikungunya reported in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 9, 2025 (BSS) – In the last 24 hours, 47 people in Chattogram district have been infected with chikungunya and 36 with dengue, Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Jahangir Alam confirmed this afternoon.

According to the Chattogram Civil Surgeon’s office, a total of 1,883 people have been hospitalized with dengue this year, resulting in 16 deaths. In addition, 3,148 cases of chikungunya have been reported so far this year.

Currently, 52 patients, including 41 with chikungunya, are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the city.
