One new COVID-19 case detected in 24 hours

DHAKA, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS) – One new COVID-19 case was detected across the country in the last 24 hours till 8 am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

During the period, samples of seven individuals were tested while no death related to COVID-19 was reported in the past 24 hours, the release added.

A total of 32 people have died from the virus since January 2025.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, the total number of COVID-19 related-death in the country stands at 29,531.
