22 dengue, 11 Chikungunya cases reported in Ctg in 24-hour

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 22 people in the district have been infected with Dengue and 11 with Chikungunya during the last 24 hours.

On Tuesday afternoon, Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr. Jahangir Alam confirmed.
 
According to the Chattogram Civil Surgeon's office, a total of 1,898 people have been hospitalized for Dengue this year, resulting in 17 deaths. 

Additionally, 3,188 cases of Chikungunya have been reported this year, it added.
 
Dr. Jahangir Alam stated that 47 patients, including 31 with Chikungunya, are currently receiving treatment in different hospitals of the city.
