Women’s health camp for DU female students tomorrow

DHAKA, Sept 24, 2025 (BSS) – A women’s health camp will be organized on Dhaka University (DU) campus tomorrow to provide healthcare services to female students.

The camp is a collaborative initiative of the Department of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Pharmacy of Dhaka University, in partnership with Nuvista Pharmaceuticals, marking World Pharmacist Day.

During the camp, two female gynecologists will provide medical advice and consultations on a range of women’s health issues.

These include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), irregular menstrual cycles, endometriosis, iron and vitamin D deficiencies, thyroid disorders, and breast and uterine cancers.

The health camp will be open to all DU female students. The university administration has requested students to attend during the scheduled hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
