DHAKA, October 04, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places across the country over the next 24 hours, beginning at 9:00 am today.

"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at many places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions," according to a bulletin issued by the BMD here this morning.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged all over the country, the met office predicted.

On Friday, the highest temperature recorded was 33.5 degrees Celsius in Feni and Kutibdia stations, while the lowest temperature was 24 degrees Celsius in Tangail station.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:44 pm today and will rise at 5:52 am tomorrow.
