Mental health awareness workshop held at Southern University

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 14, 2025 (BSS) - A mental health awareness workshop and campaign was held at Bayezid Arefin Nagar, organized by the Moot Court Society of the Law Department of Southern University Bangladesh in collaboration with Youth Policy Forum and Right Here Right Now. 

Marilyn Ahmed Muna, co-founder and CEO of the 'Shono' organization, delivered the keynote address in the workshop. 

Professor Mohiuddin Khaled, Registrar AFM Modasher Ali, Head of Department Suraiya Momtaz, and other teachers and students attended the event.

Marilyn Ahmed Muna emphasized the significance of mental health, shared strategies for achieving mental equilibrium, and highlighted the importance of cultivating a positive mindset through self-awareness.

During the campaign that ran alongside the workshop, students were engaged in interactive games, quizzes, and awareness activities that covered different facets of mental health in a fun and engaging manner.

These activities foster a positive outlook among students and encourage them to prioritize mental well-being.
