DHAKA, Jan 22, 2026 (BSS) - BNP today released its election theme song.
BNP Senior Joint General Secretary Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi inaugurated the theme song at a ceremony held at Hotel Lakeshore in Gulshan at 12:00am.
The song has been composed by weaving together several popular BNP election slogans, including "Vote deben kishe? Dhaner shishe" (Where will you vote? For the sheaf of paddy) and "Shobar age Bangladesh" (Bangladesh first).
Speaking at the inauguration, Rizvi said that just as the nucleus of an atom contains protons, electrons and neutrons bound together by a strong force, BNP believes in a similarly strong state philosophy -- "Bangladeshi nationalism" -- symbolized by the sheaf of paddy.
He added that just as Sheikh Hasina could not erase this symbol, no one else would be able to do so. "The sheaf of paddy is deeply embedded in the hearts of the people," he said.
