Dry weather likely

DHAKA, Jan 26, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast that weather is likely to remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country during the next 24 hours commencing from 9:00 am.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places across the country during late night to morning, according to a Met Office bulletin.

Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.

The highest temperature recorded on Sunday was 31.2 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in Cox's Bazar, while today's minimum temperature was recorded 10 degrees Celsius at Sreemangal in Maulvibazar.

Today's sunset in Dhaka is at 5:40 pm, while tomorrow's sunrise is expected at 6:42 am.
