Chief Adviser’s Principal Secretary M Siraz Uddin Miah was present at the function as the chief guest with NSDA Executive Chairman Dr Nazneen Kawshar Chowdhury in the chair.

Speaking on the occasion, Siraz Uddin Miah called upon the Industry Skills Councils to play a vital role in making the skills development system more labor-market oriented by ensuring direct participation of the industrial sector.

He noted that strengthening the institutional capacity of ISCs would make it possible to develop a skilled workforce based on the real demands of industry, improve the quality of training, and create sustainable employment.
