Islamic Foundation Corner inaugurated at IU Library

ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Kushtia, Mar 3, 2026 (BSS)- Islamic Foundation Corner was inaugurated at the Khademul Haramain King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz Central Library of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Tuesday.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah inaugurated the corner at around 12pm on the second floor of the central library.

IU VC, who is also the chairman of the Central Library Management Committee, attended the programme as the chief guest.

Pro-VC Prof Dr M. Yeaqub Ali and Treasurer Prof Dr Jahangir Alam were present as special guests. Acting Librarian Khondkar Abdul Majid delivered the welcome speech.

Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor said, “Islamic Foundation Bangladesh plays the most significant role in publishing Islamic books in Bangladesh. The main objective of this institution is to promote and expand Islamic knowledge. With the introduction of the Islamic Corner in the university, students will learn more about the latest Islamic publications and gather knowledge about it.”
