BSS chief reporter Didarul Alam's mother passes away

DHAKA, March 3, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) chief reporter Didarul Alam's mother Achhia Begum died of old age complications at her residence in Cumilla tonight.

She was 79.

She breathed her last around 9pm at her residence at Moishan Bari of Shahdoulatpur village in Cumilla Moynamati, family sources said.

She is survived by five sons and three daughters.

Didarul Alam's father Ali Ahammad Moishan, a former member of legislative assembly (MLA) of Indian state of Tripura, passed away on September 4, 2014.
