Govt working to implement electoral pledges : Yeaser Khan

NANDAIL, March 19, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yeaser Khan Chowdhury today said the government is working to implement the electoral pledges what the BNP had committed.

The state minister said this at a doa and iftar mahfil held at Imam Hossain High School in Sherpur union of Nandail upazila here.

Yeaser Khan said : “ After formation of the government after winning in people's vote, we have started implementation of family card and canal re-excavation programme among the electoral pledges made before the polls.”

Regarding the electoral pledges of his own constituency, the state minister said the government will pave 60 roads including development of all the educational institutes of the upazila in next four months.

He said the list of the unpaved roads of Nandail has already been prepared  and paving of these roads will start soon.

Upazila and union BNP leaders also attended the doa and iftar mahfil.
