CHATTOGRAM, March 22, 2026 (BSS)- The conflict between Israel, the United States, and Iran is causing disruptions in Middle East airspace. As a result, 7 international flights have been cancelled at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport.

Airport Public Relations Officer Engineer Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil today said that among the cancelled flights on Saturday were Biman Bangladesh’s arrivals from and departures for the Middle East.

Several flights, cancelled at Shah Amanat International Airport, included two arrivals and one departure flight of US-Bangla Airlines and one arrival and departure flight of Air Arabia.

However, 6 arrival and 4 departure flights from and for the Middle East operated as per the scheduled. Flights to Chattogram from Sharjah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi by Salam Air, Air Arabia, and US-Bangla Airlines are still being disrupted. Since February 28, a total of 162 international flights have been cancelled at the airport due to the unrest in the Middle East.
