Mirza Fakhrul exchanges Eid greetings in Thakurgaon

THAKURGAON, March 22, 2026 (BSS) –  BNP Secretary General and LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today exchanged Eid greetings with party leaders and activists, well-wishers, government and private officials, and people from various walks of life at his Thakurgaon residence. 

On the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, he arrived at his residence around 1:30 pm today. 

His personal secretary Md Moniruzzaman said on Monday morning, Mirza Fakhrul will inaugurate a canal excavation programme at Bhaularhat in Raipur Union under Sadar Upazila. 

Later, at 1:00 pm, he will attend as chief guest a discussion meeting titled “Prospects of Industrialization in Thakurgaon District” at the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

He is scheduled to leave Thakurgaon for Dhaka by air via Sayedpur on the same day.
