Land minister urges field-level officials to fulfill people's expectations

DHAKA, Mar 29, 2026 (BSS) - Land Minister Md Mizanur Rahman Minu today asked field-level land officials to work sincerely to fulfill the people's expectations. 

He gave the instruction while speaking at the inaugural session of the Higher Land Management Course at the Land Administration Training Centre in the capital this morning.

The minister said people visit the land office with numerous problems and the officials concerned should take prompt action to provide legal solutions. 

"We have many laws and regulations regarding land problems that field-level officials need to learn. There is no alternative to training in this regard," he said.

Greeting all the trainees, Minu said everyone should be focused on implementing the government's instructions to take the country forward in the coming days.

"Our government has been repeatedly saying that we should provide land services to the people with transparency and efficiency," he said.

The land minister said no one should commit any misdeed that defames other field-level officials. The consequences of such misdeeds fall entirely on the government. Therefore they should remain aware of this.

Land Reforms Board Chairman AJM Salahuddin Nagari, Additional Secretary of the ministry Abdur Rouf and Land Administration and Training Centre Director Mohammad Abul Khayer also spoke at the event, with Additional Secretary Nasrin Jahan in the chair
