Dry weather likely

DHAKA, April 12, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that weather would remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in next 24 hours commencing 9 am. 

"Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division," a Met office bulletin said.

Day temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The highest temperature on Saturday 35.8 degrees Celsius in Jashore and today's minimum temperature is 18.4 degrees Celsius in Tetulia. 

The sun sets at 6.19 pm today and rises at 5.39 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
