DHAKA, April 24, 2026 (BSS) - Seven more children died of measles and measles-like symptoms in the last 24 hours till 8 am today.

A latest report on measles situation from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said a total of 198 suspected measles patients have died since March 15.

The number of suspected measles patients in the country over the past 24 hours is 1,215. During this time, 172 confirmed measles patients were admitted to hospitals.

So far, the total number of suspected measles patients admitted to hospitals has reached 19,705. Among them, 16,527 patients have recovered and been discharged.
