DHAKA, June 16, 2026 (BSS) - A meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) was held today with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in the chair.

The meeting begun at the Public Administration Meeting Room of the Cabinet Division at Bangladesh Secretariat here this morning and ended at 12:20 pm, said Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Md Suzauddhowla Sujon Mahmud.

The last ECNEC meeting was held on June 9 with the Prime Minister in the chair.
