RAJSHAHI, July 16, 2026 (BSS)- Three state-of-the-art scientific research instruments recently procured for the Central Science Laboratory of Rajshahi University (RU).

These three instruments - Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM), X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD), and Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES) - were inaugurated today.

Professor Md. Abdul Alim, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) and Professor Mamunur Rashid, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education), were present as special guests at the ceremony organized on this occasion.

Professor Md. Hamidul Haque, Acting Director of the Central Science Laboratory, spoke about the introduction and uses of these new instruments.

Among others present at the event were Treasurer Professor Md. Motiar Rahman, Syndicate Member Professor Md. Rezaul Karim, Student Advisor Professor A H M Khurshid Alam, Chairman of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering Professor Md. Abdul Matin, along with teachers and researchers from various departments.
