71 dengue patients hospitalised in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 8, 2026 (BSS) – A total of 71 people have been hospitalised with dengue in the city and elsewhere in the district in the last 24 hours.

According to a report issued by the District Civil Surgeon's Office today, 13 cases were reported at Chattogram Medical College Hospital, 18 at the Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) Hospital, 10 at the 250-bed General Hospital, one at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), 16 at Upazila Health Complexes, and 13 at private hospitals and clinics.

The cumulative number of dengue cases has reached 2,548, while six people have died of the disease in the district this year.
