Commission on BDR carnage seeks information from all

DHAKA, March 5, 2025 (BSS) – The interim government-instituted National Independent Investigation Commission on 2009 mutiny in the then paramilitary BDR force today invited all concerned to provide information related to the revolt that had killed 74 people including 57 military officers. 

The seven-member commission led by retired lieutenant general ALM Fazlur Rahman urged the people to post their statements and testimony to its website -- bdr-commission.org.
  “Everyone is encouraged to help the Commission by providing helpful information for the investigation through its website bdr-commission.org,” the commission said in a special public notice.

The Commission also urged the public and private media outlets to carry its call particularly running scrolls in TV channels from March 5 to 10.
  
The Commission also sent the notice to mobile phone users of all the operators.
