Tarique Rahman stands by July uprising martyr Ahnaf's family

DHAKA, Jan 29, 2025 (BSS) - A delegation of 'Amra BNP Paribar' today met the parents of ShaheedShafiquddin Ahmed Ahnaf, who was killed in firing of law enforcement agencies during the mass movement led by students in the months of July-August, in Mirpur-10 area in the capital.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed conveyed a message of sympathy to the family of Shaheed Ahnaf, a student of BAF Shaheen College, on behalf of Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of BNP and the chief patron of 'Amra BNP Paribar', said a press release.

'Amra BNP Paribar' convener Atiqur Rahman Rumon, member secretary agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun, members Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, Farhad Ali Sajeeb, Rubel Amin and Shahadat Hossain were present, among others.

Mirpur Thana BNP leader Shakil Ahmed, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal central vice-presidents Dr. Touhidur Rahman Awal and Habibul Bashar, former vice-president Jamil Hossain, joint secretary Hasanur Rahman, Dhaka City Chhatra Dal (West) president Robin, general secretary Akram, private university 
Chhatra Dal leader Mashiur Rahman Mohan, Shariful Islam, Mirpur Bangla College Chhatra Dal leader Akash, Dhaka College Chhatra Dal leader Misbah, and Mirpur Thana BNP leaders were also present.

Shaheed Shafiquddin Ahmed Ahnaf sustained bullet injury in Mirpur-10 area during the movement on August 4 and died on way to hospital.
