Countrymen want fair polls after minimum reforms: Manna

BOGURA, Jan 30, 2025 (BSS) – President of Nagorik Oikya Mahmudur Rahman Manna has said the countrymen want a fair election after minimum reforms.

He said this while addressing a conference of the activists of Nagorik Oikya of Bogura district unit at Satmatha intersection of the town.

Manna said the countrymen want a free, fair and credible election to get a good government.

"Voting is a priceless asset,” Manna said urging all not to cast their vote for any thieve and dacoits.

He said many people have sacrificed their lives to establish the right to franchise.

Manna demanded exemplary punishment of those police personnel who were involved in killing innocent people during the movement against fascist Awami League government.

Central leader of the party Abdur Razzak Talukder spoke on the occasion as special guest while Principal Matiar Rahman was in the chair.
