Bangladesh will not allow India's dominance: Taher

CUMILLA, Jan 31, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Dr Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher has said the people of Bangladesh will not allow India's politics of dominance.

"The people will not allow India's politics of dominance to continue in Bangladesh. The downfall of the government on August 5 is not only the fall of the autocratic government, but also the defeat of the hegemonic and Islam phobic India," he said. 

Abdullah Taher said this while speaking at a discussion at Chaumuhani Modern School and Madrasah in Sreepur union of Chauddagram upazila on the occasion of distributing turbans among the students.

Mufti Amir Hamza, party’s central leader Maulana Abdul Halim, local leaders Mohammad Shahjahan and Mahfuzur Rahman spoke, among others, on the occasion.
