DHAKA, Feb 01. 2025 (BSS)- The 46th founding anniversary of ‘Surabhi’, a leading welfare oriented organization for the street children, was celebrated today in a befitting manner.

The organization was founded by Syeda Iqbal Mandh Banu, wife of former chief of Bangladesh Navy and former agriculture minister Rear Admiral Mahbub Ali Khan.

Marking the anniversary, a day-long programme including recitation from the holy Quran, poems, and cultural function were organized, said a press release here.

Syeda Iqbal Mandh Banu and executive director of Surabhi  Abu Taher spoke in the occasion.

‘Surabhi’ is working for overall development of the street children. Thousands of street children have received support to run their education from the organization, it said.
