MANIKGANJ, Feb 3, 2025 (BSS): The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Central Committee has announced a seven-member Convening Committee for its Manikganj district unit, with Afroza Khanam Rita appointed as the convenor.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi approved the committee, which includes members S.A. Jinnah Kabir, Advocate Azad Hossain Khan, Ataur Rahman Ata, Advocate AFM Nurtaj Alam Bahar, Satyen Pondit, and Golam Abedin Kaysar, according to a press release.

The announcement marks the first phase of the committee formation, the statement added.

After the declaration, in Manikganj a joyous procession brought out in the district town yesterday to welcome the new committee.
