BGB seizes four lakh pcs of yaba tablets in Teknaf

DHAKA, Feb 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) during a drive seized four lakh pieces of yaba tablets from Teknaf early today.  

Teknaf Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Ashikur Rahman informed that a BGB team based on a secret information conducted the raid at Keura Jungle on the bank of Naf River and seized contraband items in four sacks.

But none could be arrested in this connection, he added.

The seized items were handed over to the authorities concerned. Legal action is underway in this connection.
