461 more apprehended under 'Operation Devil Hunt'

DHAKA, Feb 21, 2025 (BSS) - The joint forces arrested 461 more people as part of the 
nationwide crackdown on criminals ‘Operation Devil Hunt’ in the last 24 hours from Thursday 
noon to Friday noon

A short message from the Police Headquarters said a total of 1650 persons were arrested from 
different parts of the country. Of them, 1189 were arrested on other criminal charges.
 
During the operation, one foreign pistol, six rounds of bullet, two double barrel local gun, one 
shutter gun, and one machetes were seized. 
   
With the latest arrest under ‘Operation Devil Hunt’, 7310 were arrested in total on the 14th day 
of the crackdown for their suspected link to destabilise the country.
