CA’s Special Assistant Prof. Aminul Islam resigns

DHAKA, March 10, 2025 (BSS) – Chief adviser to the interim government Prof Muhammad Yunus’ Special Assistant Professor Dr M Aminul Islam, who was in-charge of the ministry of education with the rank of state minister,  resigned today from his post.  

 “The resignation letter of Professor Dr M Aminul Islam has been accepted by the president which will be effective immediately,” said a notification issued here this evening by the Cabinet Division.

In November last year, Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus appointed three special assistants including Aminul with the rank of state minister to assist advisers in-charge of the ministries of Home, Health and Education.

Prof Dr M Aminul Islam was given executive authority to assist the adviser to the ministry of education.
