Salahuddin demands quick polls

Cox's Bazar, June 9, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed has called for establishing a political government quickly through fair elections in the greater interest of democracy.

He said this at the inauguration ceremony of the Pekua Upazila BNP head office at Pekua Chowmuhani in the district.

Pekua Upazila BNP President Bahadur Shah chaired the event while Cox's Bazar District BNP and Pekuta Upazila BNP laders were present.

Salahuddin Ahmed visited the grave of Chhatra Dal leader Mohammad Wasim, who was killed in Chattogram during the July Uprising. Wasim's grave is in Baghgujara village in Pekua Upazila.
